This room contains a single oak framed bed and desk. The typewriter on the desk has an oversized carriage to fit government forms. The room has a wash basin which is unique to officer's quarters. The electric fan in this room and in the other rooms is the sole source of ventilation as the ship does not have a mechanical air conditioning system.
