Forward bulkhead has five (5) portholes with steel plates that can be dropped in war zones. Above the portholes is the speed indicator and rudder angle indicator. Below are two (2) speaking tubes leading to the Radio room, gyroscope and flying bridge. To their left is the ship's whistle handle. Next is the engine room telegraph which is used to send signals to the engineers to control the speed and direction of the ship. Behind the compass and ship's wheel is a set of signal flags each in their own specific location. Next to the wheel is the gyro-repeater, a small desk and the radar stand.
